My name is Stephanie (Steph) Busch and I just started grad school here at Warner. I’m a masters candidate in the Higher Education program on the Student Affairs and Academic & Career Advisement track, which I’m very excited about. Though I only just began my Warner days, the University of Rochester is a place I am well acquainted with. I graduated as an American Sign Language major in 2017, and while I was here as an undergrad I had the opportunity to study Linguistics, Gender Studies, Brain Cognitive Science, Theater, English… (the list goes on).
I decided Warner was the place for me as I’m hoping to one day become an Academic Adviser and/or Career Counselor at a Deaf University. As such I’m looking forward to working with a diverse group of students in different settings! Currently, I am lucky to have an assistantship in the Warner Admissions office, I am continuing to work in the Campus mail center (where I worked as an undergrad) and I’m a dog sitter! I look forward to what I will learn as a Warner student, and look forward to bringing all of you some interesting articles about Warner, the University, College Life and the city of Rochester!
That’s all for now folks 😉
