Learning In and Out of the Classroom

As a student in any education field, practicum is key to preparation for a successful career.  When I was thinking about applying to Warner, one of the most important factors was the opportunity for learning through practical experience.  My interviewer emphasized this when we discussed the required internship aspect of the higher education curriculum as well as the opportunities for graduate assistantships.

I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to work in the admissions office for Warner as I knew it would complement my classroom experiences. Now, as I am currently enrolled in the Admissions & Financial Aid course, I can relate the theory to practice and my overall knowledge of the subject is enhanced tremendously.
